Sneaker Heads: “Cheetah” Kobe VII Inspired Air Yeezy 2′s…YOUNGNFLY!!!
After starring together in the 2011 “…The Black Mamba” short film and the new #KOBESYSTEM Nike commercials, there’s no question that Kobe Bryant and Kanye West share a mutual respect for each other. That relationship nearly resulted in a Kobe-inspired version of the original Air Yeezy in 2009, but plans for that shoe eventually fell through. It appears that the concept has been revisited this time around, as a photo of a “Cheetah” Kobe VII-flavored Air Yeezy 2 has surfaced online.
The shoe features a Royal Purple leather, mesh and suede upper, complemented by red gold-tipped laces, a volt tongue logo, speckled midsole and glow in the dark outsole. You’ll also notice what appears to be a matching dust bag for this year’s release.

The ‘Year of the Dragon’ release has understandably fallen out of the spotlight due to the great selection of releases that hit since the beginning of February, but if you’ve still been keeping your radar on lock for this year’s ‘China’ release, look no further than March 17th.

The remodeled upper adds hexagon snakeskin like texture to the upper and includes carbon fiber along the heel and a full length air zoom unit. This fully loaded version of the Zoom Kobe VII is scheduled to hit retailers this spring and will retail for $200.
Sneaker Heads: Nike Zoom Kobe 7 “Poison Dart Frog”
The second offering from the Nike Zoom Kobe 7 “Poison Dart Frog” Pack will be in a Lakers-inspired colorway. These are scheduled to release on May 19th at select Nike retailers. The retail price is set at $140.
